Analysis of Research Trends on Infection Control of Occupational Therapists

Abstract
|

|
Objective : The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for future application of occupational therapists to the domestic market by analyzing the trend of research on infection control.
Methods : This study was conducted through RISS, KISS, and Google scholars for literature published from 2000 to 2019. The final 4 articles were analyzed through selection criteria and exclusion criteria among 41 articles.
Results : As a result of the analysis, the qualitative level of all 4 articles(100%) was evidence level IV.
In the field of work of occupational therapists, the subjects of the study were 2 articles(50%) dysphagia rehabilitation therapy rooms. The awareness of infection control was higher than the practice.
Conclusion : This study confirmed the lack of research on infection control of occupational therapists in Korea. In the future, it is necessary to study for infection control suitable for domestic situation, development of infection control program suitable for clinical environment, and research on effectiveness.
